Round 1 is where you begin entering your information with one clear goal: clear your mind. Using four notebooks — representing the key areas of your life: Finances, Personal, Friends & Family, and Solutions — you capture what’s happening in a simple, organized way. FYL gives you multiple entry options that remove the need for you to “get organized” first — the formats do much of the lifting as you work through the program. Now you can move through the process at your own pace, build trust in the system, and set a strong foundation for what comes next.

The Finances Book

This notebook helps you capture everything financial in one place — income, expenses, debts, bills, and immediate needs. The goal is not perfection — it’s clarity. The forms and notebook layouts are designed to do the organizing for you, so you can focus on the leg work: entering the information and seeing what’s real. By keeping it simple and structured, you reduce stress, clear your mind, and build a foundation for Round 2.

The Personal Book

This notebook is about the perception you have of yourself. It’s for everything personal that feels like it’s affecting your stability — health, habits, emotions, daily structure, and the things you’ve been carrying. It helps you clear your head, get honest without judgment, and organize what’s going on inside your life so you can start rebuilding from a stronger place.

The Friends & Family Book

This notebook is for relationships — not to judge or solve everything right now, but to capture what you believe is happening clearly. Most of all, it’s about clearing your mind and setting a foundation. As you move forward through FYL, you become more open with yourself, you let the program do its work, and when it asks you to face hard truths, you do it. For now, this notebook holds your current perception of your friends and family — so you can move forward with more clarity and less mental weight.

The Solutions Book

This notebook is the final step of Round 1 — and it matters. You’re now halfway through the program, and the goal here is not perfection — it’s foundation. In the Solutions Book, you revisit your abilities, qualities, skills, and interests — often buried by struggle — and write only what you genuinely identify with (past or present). This work becomes the glue that helps hold your plan together in Round 2. Don’t skip this step. If you feel blocked, go slowly, use memory or visualization, and reach out — the pause comes next.
